Fresh Ginger is green tea with a bit of heat in it. Whole-leaf green tea is layered with real ginger and a bright citrus lift, then scattered with golden marigold petals. It brews to a clear yellow-green cup: soft and grassy at first, with the warm, peppery bite of ginger arriving just behind. Lively without being sharp, and lovely hot or over ice. Tasting Notes The green tea base sets a smooth, gently vegetal tone, a little sweet and clean. Ginger cuts through it with a warm, spicy tingle that builds as you drink, balanced by a fresh citrus brightness that keeps everything lifted. Marigold petals add a soft, faintly musky floral note and flecks of gold to the leaf. The finish is crisp and warming at once. Hot or Iced Ginger and green tea suit any hour, hot in the morning or through a cold afternoon. It also makes an excellent iced tea: brew it strong, chill it and pour it over ice for something crisp and gingery. A slice of lemon and a little honey are very good with the iced version. Brewing Heat fresh water to 90 °C and steep 2.5 g of leaves (about one teaspoon) for 2 minutes. Green tea stays sweetest with a short steep; longer draws out more ginger heat, if that's what you're after.
