Friday Lawrence is an award-winning contemporary jewellery designer whose work celebrates the overlooked beauty within industrial and utilitarian objects. Inspired by tools, fixing s and metalwork, as well as a personal family history of inherited toolboxes, she transforms familiar functional forms into jewellery. Blending traditional silversmithing techniques with modern technologies, Friday elevates these often-overlooked objects, challenging conventional notions of jewellery while encouraging viewers to pick up tools and get creative.
