FriendshipMulticoloured Reduction Linoprint Fox, fish, orchid and bird study using the reduction linocut printing technique. This is different perspective on “Friends Together”. Here this colourful rendition is a reminder that friendship isn’t restricted by who we are, what we appear like, what we bring or are like each time we connect with others. We all bring value, differences and ground one another in our individual ways. This print consists of seven separate layers carving elements away from the Lino block after one layer is printed to develop the layers of detail and deepen the colour. I use Cranfield relief printing inks that require drying time between print layers. As each print has undergone seven printing sessions, every finished print will have inherent variations rendering each individual print unique. Each finished print is numbered and signed.
