This combination of golf and Frisbee tossing, playable by any number of contestants, consists of throwing circular discs of varying sizes and aerodynamic qualities at strategically placed baskets. Courses vary in length between nine and eighteen baskets; the objective is to toss the Frisbee into each basket, using as few throws as possible with a par scoring system similar to golf.In Frisbee Golf you choose one of four player models and play on one of four courses (canyon, woodsy, beach or city park). From the main menu, viewable maps are available for each of the game's 54 baskets to help you select which course to use. The same map is displayed in the game screen with a live animation that tracks your throws.For each throw, you can set the throw strength, height and angle. All the courses (including the beach) are littered with trees, so careful aiming is a must. Other considerations include wind speed and direction, factors in almost every throw. Lastly, distance to the basket comes into play when selecting which Frisbee to use -- there are driver, mid-range and putter Frisbees! Options include setting the digitally recorded music and sound-effect audio levels. The game has minimal system requirements and does not support multiplayer or online play.
