One significant limitation of modern IFS (Independent Front Suspension) 4WD vehicles is the limited adjustment range available for successful wheel alignments. This issue becomes more pronounced when the vehicle is lifted more than 1 inch, leading to complications with camber and caster angles, as well as ball joint articulation and clearance issues with the coil-over strut at both ride and droop heights. The new Whiteline adjustable UCA (Upper Control Arm) offers a comprehensive solution for any vehicle lifted between 30mm and 70mm. It provides an adjustment range of +0.5 to +3.5 degrees for caster and -1.5 to +1.5 degrees for camber (these figures are based on an approximate lift of 50mm or 2 inches). Additionally, it ensures greater clearance to the coil-over strut and enhances the articulation of the arm through the use of new, maintenance-free GIIRO bushing technology.
