A notable shortcoming of modern-day IFS 4WD systems is the limited adjustment range available for successful wheel alignments. This issue becomes increasingly significant when the vehicle is lifted more than 1 inch. Such a lift not only leads to camber and caster issues but also causes problems with ball joint articulation and clearance in relation to the coil-over strut at both ride and droop heights. The new Whiteline offset UCA (Upper Control Arm) addresses these concerns effectively. It is an all-in-one solution for vehicles lifted between 30mm and 70mm. This UCA provides an increased adjustment range of +2.5 to +3.5 degrees in caster and up to 1.5 degrees of negative camber (based on an approximate lift of 50mm or 2 inches). Additionally, it offers enhanced clearance to the coil-over strut and improved articulation of the arm, thanks to the new maintenance-free GIIRO bushing technology.
