This thread has a tendency to snag and unravel at the end near our needle as you stitch. Cut in lengths no longer than 18", and use Fray Check on the ends to minimize the unraveling of this thread. This is an excellent thread for the ruching technique to add interest to your piece. anchor your thread on the canvas and remove the needle from your thread. Grasp the metallic filament between two fingers and gently slide the outer tube down towards the canvas. When you have the desired amount of ruched thread, use the metallic to couch the ruched thread in place. Use shorter lengths of thread if ruching a small area.
