Additionally, the subtle texture and fibrous weave of the canvas enhances details within the prints, bringing them to life. Arrive ready to hang pre-stretched and if selected framed in black or oak veneer frames. Both work exceptionally well with this painting. Before the Hollow (Winter 2024) Painted in the deep quiet of winter, Before the Hollow captures the first emergence of the forest as subject - stripped of bloom, reduced to form, rhythm, and breath. The palette cools, the air thins, and what remains is the architecture of stillness itself. This work became the threshold for The Sunken Forest - a study in what survives after everything else falls away.
