Designed and made exclusively for Irish Design Shop by skilled potter Rosemarie Durr, this berry colander is a kitchen essential to keep handy while baking and cooking. The brief f or Rosemarie was to design something that functions beautifully and is small enough to use with ease, every day. The handle/spout combo was prototyped and tested until we were all happy with how the colander felt in the hand and how it functioned. The drainage holes were also considered to minimize pooling at the base and to allow water to drain away freely. It is the perfect size to rinse berries, pulses, or salad leaves.
