All you need to make your own fruit fly cultures. 6 oz. Kit (good for 6 cultures): 6 x 32 oz. non-vented deli cups 6 x Poly-Fabric Lid 1x 6 oz. Superfly jar 50g Excelsior Flightles s Fruit Flies NOT included. If you need then to seed this kit add a Fruit Fly Cultures to your order after adding this kit. We also recommend keeping all cultures on “Josh's Frogs Bug Blade” in a bin or drawer to prevent mites from getting into cultures and premature cashing them. you can add Bug Blade separate to your it order if require! DIRECTIONS: For a typical 32 oz. size deli container, add 1/4 cup Superfly to 2/3 cup HOT water (distilled or bottled if possible) and stir until blended. Finished mixture should be thin enough to flatten out when container is tapped on table. Let sit for a few hours to completely absorb water. Add water or media to adjust if necessary. Add Flies and keep at approx 75F. Culture should begin to produce larvae in 5-7 days and flies in 10-15 days depending on temperature.
