Stitches are cast on using a crochet cast-on, and a few rows are first worked back and forth in garter stitch. The work is then joined to work in the round in a lace pattern. It continues in stockinette stitch up to the armholes, where the work is divided into front and back. The armholes are finished with an i-cord edge on each side. Stitches are bound off for the V-neck, and front and back is completed separately, ending in a strap. Finally, the straps are joined together at each shoulder.
