Lattice or sometimes called basket weave or window pane sinamay fabric. This sinamay is woven on hand looms in a boxed pattern, leaving a gap of about 6mm spaces with 4 or 5 fibres more closely woven. Sinamay is probably the most used material for creating many millinery creations hats and fascinators. This fabric made from the fine fibres of the abaca tree are hand selected and hand woven carefully together to form this material. A medium stiffener finish is applied to allow this material to be used both in making hats and millinery ideas and also as a trim, the results are truly endless. The openness of the weave gives ease of movement and the ideas are endless with this material. Supplied in a classic range of colours, this most popular material is sold by the metre and measures 90cm wide. If you require more than one metre we will always supply on continual lengths.
