Rear Brake Mudshield (Left-Hand) is a stamped backing plate that fits behind the rear brake disc within the rear disc brake assembly. It shields the inboard face of the disc and th e caliper from road spray, mud and debris thrown up by the wheel, helping to keep the friction surfaces clean and reduce contamination of the braking surface.
