FTP Trainer (Forced Toe Point) Don’t you just love it when a cutie (Boy OR Girl) walks on tiptoes. It looks so dainty, so adorable. Don’t you just hate it when they come down off tiptoes? Now from the evil genius mind of Lew Rubens comes his latest invention: The FTP Trainer! Just strap it on and watch the fun! Careful now! Balance can be tricky! Don’t fall down! Lew says: “If you use your strength to hold yourself up on tiptoes, then the FTPs are not too uncomfortable. If you try to relax into them, they push a bit hard on the tender bones on top of the foot. PERFECT right? Ha ha ha!” Your FTP Trainer comes to you with a straight bar. If you look closely at the pics you will see that the bar is slightly bent inwards a little. This makes for a cleaner line and a little more comfort. Different people need a different amount of bend. PLEASE BEND A LITTLE AT A TIME! And just enough for to make it work well. If you bend to too much or back n forth too many times, the metal might break. The FTP Trainer comes in two sizes and three strap choices!! Small (16inch length) Large (18inch length) Strap choices are: Burgandy Leather, Black Leather and Shiny Black PVC coated nylon straps. The leather is way more expensive than the Shiny Black PVC coated nylon. So far most folks fit into one of them. If you are tall, buy the 18". If you are short buy the 16". If you are in between either will probably fit you but buy the smaller one as it will probably work better for you. At the bottom of the page is a pic outlining how to measure yourself. If you don’t think one of the sizes will fit you, please email Lew with measurements. It might take a little longer to make a special size for you but right now there is no extra charge for that.
