Fuji is crisp, firm, and juicy, while its skin is a beautiful bright red. Though the Fuji apple is a favorite for fresh eating, it also makes a delicious cider. Blooms with fragran t pink flowers in spring. Fuji apple trees are not fully self-fertile and require cross-pollination from a different, early-to-mid-season blooming apple tree for a heavy crop. The best pollinators for a Fuji include Gala, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious and Honeycrisp since they all tend to ripen later in the season. Produces large yields.
