Over boost codes at between 23-24 psi set by truck with performance modifications like a performance chip or performance injectors results in computer defueling and trouble codes at those higher boost levels. When the computer defuels, the injector performance is reduced while the computer is in defuel mode.The boost fooler allows the truck to function normally but tricks the computer by only allowing it to see lower normal boost levels.
