The FULL MOON SHAWL starts with a basic band in [ k2, p2 ] ribbing, followed by a single row in garter stitch, which starts in the center of work. The color way is shaped by short rows, starting from the center of work and finally edged with the second ribbing band, that is ending in tips together with the basic band. Our sample was knit with several yarns from our stash: Col 1: Wollwerk Stockrose & Rose Floral, 42 light grey, Col 2: Linea by Karen Noe, dark grey, Col 3: Light grey Alpaca, unlabled from stash, Col 4: Lang Donegal, dark grey, Col 5: blue sky alpacas, melange green, Col 6: unlabled light grey yarn from stash, Col 7: ITO Assayaka, darl grey Approximate length 80 inch (200 cm), width max. 8 inch (20 cm) Circular needles US4 (3,5 mm), length at least 40 inch (100 cm), or needle size required to obtain the given gauge. 21 sts x 30 rows on larger needles, in pattern for 4 x 4 inch (10x10 cm), gauge washed for a realistic result.
