These mats are heat-sensitive and can soften or warp with prolonged exposure to high temperatures — see the Pink vs. Clear notes below for what's safe with your soaping method. Pink Mats: perfect for Cold Process (CP) and Melt & Pour (MP). Because of the pigment, these aren't suitable for CPOP or high-heat setups — please avoid pairing Pink mats with high heat, over-heated Melt & Pour, or harsh essential oils, as this can cause pigment migration onto your soap. Clear Mats: the lack of pigment makes these the recommended choice for CPOP. Even with Clear, keep an eye on temperatures to prevent the polymer from softening or warping.
