An odd colour, and that is exactly the point Violet is not a colour trout see much of on a river bed, and on pressured fish that unfamiliarity is worth something in itself. Pair it with CdC, which breathes and pulses on the slowest drift, and you have a nymph that offers movement and a colour nothing else in the box is showing.
