Fully Handshaped Surfboards are at the core of what we do at Mctavish - and have done since 1962. Screenprinted on our 100% organic cotton classic fit tee is a photo of Bob holding an absolute weapon of a mid-70s single fin, surrounded by some of his surfboard templates for hand-shaping surfboards. "Though I shaped hard through the sixties, up to ten a day at Wallace's for example, almost no photos exist from that era. In the seventies, more cameras emerged, and this classic mid-seventies shot at our old rental farmhouse in Lennox certainly demonstrates the variety of single and twin fin shapes of the era.
