These special edition playing cards were created to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Massimo Vignelli’s iconic design for the MTA Subway Map of 1972. Each card measures 3.5 x 2.5 x .5 inches and is printed on FSC certified paper. This officially licensed product of The MTA was designed by Brad Fulton and features a completely custom back design and face cards that celebrate the now legendary signage of the most frequented transit system in the USA. Fulton Street Playing Cards are a love letter to the amazing graphic design of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. By “cropping into” the curves so eloquently designed by Vignelli, these cards provide a back design that encapsulates the kinetic energy of transit in The Big Apple. Additional Card features an essay by Dr. Kenneth Joh on the significance of the Vignelli Diagram.
