Upon the first sniff of Fumencens HTC one immediately recognises the scent of fragrant ribbons of incense swirling heavenwards in an old stone Church. Fumencens HTC is a masterpiece of modern perfume technology in which frankincense resin is blended with natural triethyl citrate and heated to extremely high temperatures in a technique known as hydrothermal carbonization. This produces a near-burnt effect in the frankincense resin that replicates masterfully the scent of incense on red hot coals in a censer and hundreds of burning memorial candles. This technique is very similar to the pyrogenation process used by Firmenich in making their Olibanum Resinoid Vulcain, however unlike that material Fumencens HTC has an additional (and very long lasting) aspect of cade or birch tar. It is the smokiness and mahogany-like woodiness that sets Fumencens HTC apart. I won't say it twice: you need this.
