Because of its fine structure and malleability, FunCakes sugar paste is flexible, smooth, and easy to use. Thanks to its satin finish, it is perfect for covering a cake neatly and creating sharp edges. Preparation: The following process is recommended for the best result: Let the sugar paste come to ambient temperature. Knead the sugar paste firmly until it is smooth and elastic. Dust the work surface with some icing sugar and roll out the fondant with a rolling pin to an even shape (2-3 mm thick). Turn the sugar paste a quarter to prevent sticking. Are there still small cracks visible on the edges when the fondant is rolled out? Knead again firmly until the edges are smooth when rolling out. Then the sugar paste is ready for use.
