Funduscopy, also known as ophthalmoscopy, involves the use of a digital fundus camera to take an image of the fundus — the back portion of the eye that includes the retina, macula, fovea, optic disc and posterior pole. This is used to screen for possible retinal disorders such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and optic nerve problems. It is a simple and non-invasive test. Our optometrist will interpret and explain the results of the test. Referral to an ophthalmologist may be made, if necessary. Show more
