Its specially shaped pole shoes create a deeper magnetic field that wraps around curved surfaces for stability, but it can still be used on flat steel when needed. Designed with operator control and safety in mind, the FXR requires only a 90° handle rotation to engage or disengage the magnet, much quicker than the long throw required on many other magnets.
