G-BOND is an easy-to-use one-component self-etching, light-cured adhesive from GC. It uses both chemical adhesion and micro-mechanical retention to form a stable Nano Interaction Zone (NIZ) with dentin while also providing reliable adhesion to enamel.It is indicated for bonding light-cured composites and compomers, and for bonding dual-cure luting and core build-up composites when those materials are light cured. Mild self-etching helps reduce the risk of post-operative sensitivity. Two functional monomers support chemical adhesion to dentin and enamel. The one-component system supports simplified handling and a 30-second procedure. High moisture tolerance helps reduce technique sensitivity. HEMA-free formulation supports a durable bond. The GC America source notes Phosphoric Acid Ester Monomer, 4-MET adhesive technology, 5% filler, room-temperature storage, and a 5-10 second application followed by air thinning and 10 seconds of light curing.
