Chris’s thought process in creating this board began with an outline reminiscent of the G&S ‘Classic Nose rider’, featuring a rounded yet slightly pulled-in nose template akin to the late Floyd Smith’s ‘Perfecto’ design. The midsection to tail incorporates ‘Classic Nose rider’ hips that subtly widen towards a broader tail, enhancing agility for swift and fluid pivot turns and effortless nose riding across diverse wave conditions. Engineered for superior stability, and culminates in a diamond tail, ensuring seamless and graceful maneuverability. Tailored to Mele’s dynamic style, this board enables rapid nose positioning for prolonged nose rides followed by smooth transitions for subsequent maneuvers. Versatile for surfers of all levels, it excels particularly in knee to head-high waves, offering optimal performance and control. DESTINATION: Great in a variety of conditions knee to shoulder high.
