Just like the first, the case is made of stainless steel, and the original band design, too, is reproduced down to the smallest detail — length, form, and even the position of the dimples. The case size has been updated to 42.3 mm from the original 41.6 mm. In a further nod to where G-SHOCK began and how far it has come, the bezel and band are, like the original, made with resin, but now bio-based.
