If you are wanting to detect beta and gamma rays inexpensively and with reliability, this super sensitive Geiger Counter Package A is for you! Contains a fully assembled and tested C8600ASB Geiger counter, a G21689 CTC-5/STS-5 sensitive Beta Gamma Geiger tube, 2 connecting clips for tube and a G21144 Geiger counter check source radium watch hand in vial.To use, simply push clips on tube, connect red wire to clip on (+) of tube and black wire to clip on (-) of tube. Attach a 9V battery (not included) to snap. Turn switch on and bring vial near tube. You will hear clicks and see flashes of red light as it detects the watch hand.
