He makes it for the glass, and G4 Blanco is the clearest expression of that philosophy: a highlands blanco built on four generations of craft, rainwater, and a one-of-a-kind tahona nicknamed Felipestein.Produced at El Pandillo Distillery in Jesus Maria, Los Altos, G4 Blanco begins with 100% Blue Weber agave slow-cooked for 22 hours in traditional stone ovens. The crushed agave is processed through a handmade metal tahona before double distillation in copper pot stills. What sets this tequila apart further is its water source: a 50/50 blend of collected rainwater and natural spring water, giving the spirit a character no municipal supply could replicate. Nose: Bright minerality and fresh agave, clean and inviting with a distinctly highland lift Palate: Cooked agave leads the way alongside herbal and vegetal notes and a grind of black pepper, with butter and gentle smoke weaving through to create a surprisingly smooth and layered profile Finish: Light and clean with just a touch of lingering warmth G4 Blanco holds its own in a classic Margarita or a Paloma, where its herbal depth and mineral backbone sharpen rather than disappear behind the other ingredients.Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to appreciate the full range of its Los Altos character.
