G4 Blanco is a benchmark for traditionally made, additive-free tequila. Produced by Felipe Camarena at El Pandillo in the highlands of Jalisco, it’s made from 100% blue Weber agave and built around a very intentional, low-intervention approach to highlight the character of the agave itself. One of the defining details here is the water source. It’s proofed with a blend of collected rainwater and natural spring water, which adds a subtle mineral edge and a bit more texture than you typically find in a blanco. Everything is designed to keep the profile clean, precise, and true to the raw material. The nose is bright and expressive, with cooked agave, citrus, and a fresh herbal quality. On the palate, it’s focused and layered, showing lime, black pepper, green herbs, and a distinct minerality running underneath. There’s a natural sweetness from the agave, but it stays structured and dry through the finish, with a long, lightly peppery close. A go-to for people who want a pure, no-shortcuts style of tequila. It works in cocktails, but it really shines neat if you want to taste what well-made agave can do on its own.
