It is suitable for young dogs with genetic predispositions, senior dogs experiencing age-related wear and tear, and any dog with a history of joint injury, surgery, or excess weight.Not recommended for dogs younger than 9 months of age or weighing less than 3.6 kg (8 lbs). Do not use in dogs with a known hypersensitivity to grapiprant. Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids. Not evaluated for use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs, or dogs with cardiac disease. Owners should monitor for potential side effects such as vomiting, diarrhoea, decreased appetite, or changes in stool.
