Each Micro is supplied with our new Isolation2 surface mount – a minimalist aluminium and silicon rubber ring engineered to allow easy placement on a table or shelf while maintaining acoustic integrity. The Micro’s redesigned all-metal terminal area now includes nickel heads and gold plated posts, allowing connection via standard-sized banana plugs as well as the option to use a heavier gauge of speaker cable up to 4mm in diameter. By choosing a sphere, the strongest possible shape, we have eliminated internal resonance and external diffraction, the two main causes of loudspeaker distortion. Our patented S2 fill technology enhances low frequencies that go way beyond conventional satellite speakers. By using our 3″ full-range driver and by eliminating the crossover, the Micro is endowed with spatial characteristics unsurpassed by any other loudspeaker, regardless of size or price.
