Our 2023 Gamay is a bright, lively red that practically glows with a pale ruby hue. Right off the bat, you’ll pick up juicy pomegranate and raspberry aromas, followed by a playful hint of blood orange, fresh flowers, and just a touch of pink peppercorn. Take a taste, and you’ll notice how it starts out light and crisp, then gently broadens in the middle, finishing with a lift. What really sets our Gamay apart is our “sandwich” technique during fermentation. We layer around 10–15% of crushed and destemmed grapes at the top and bottom, while leaving the middle whole-cluster. This trick brings out those fun strawberry and bubblegum notes, all while keeping things vibrantly fresh. In the end, you get a light-bodied red with bright acidity, low tannin, and just enough warmth to tie it all together.
