Driftwood, mixed media assemblage. I couldn't believe this head when I found it. Another beach fire survivor, its features were enhanced by the charring. Back in the studio, a stro ng, simple bird body lay in wait. The head wrapped around the heavier end in perfect scale. That allowed the two steel legs to achieve balance on its upright perch.
