Gardenia is one of the hardest scents in the world to get right. The flower gives up almost nothing to extraction, so it has to be built rather than bottled, and most attempts land either thin and soapy or thick as syrup. Ours took a while. It is creamy and white floral, properly heady, the scent of a warm evening and a garden you can smell before you can see. Sensual is the word people keep using in their reviews and we have stopped arguing with them. The bar itself is triple milled, so it is dense and smooth and lasts far longer than it looks like it should. Olive and coconut oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, manuka honey and organic apple cider vinegar do the work on your skin while the gardenia does the rest. Triple milled 150g bar. Made in New Zealand. Palm oil free, SLS and EDTA free. Never tested on animals.
