GardStar is a non-restricted use, emulsifiable concentrate formulation containing permethrin. This synthetic pyrethroid is highly active against hive beetles. For treatment of exis ting infestations, apply as soon as beetles or larvae are observed in or around the hive. Thoroughly wet the ground in an area 18 - 24 inches wide in front of each hive (1 gal. per 6 hives). Apply spray in late evening after bees become inactive. DO NOT USE INSIDE THE HIVE. Highly toxic.
