Hardneck - This famous variety was carried over from Italy to Canada by a man named Al Music in the 1980s and has since become very popular. An outstanding plant producing large bu lbs. Strong, robust plants stand out in the garden. A sweet and substantial garlic when baked. Hot when consumed raw. One of Filaree Farms' bestsellers. These bulbs have only a few (4-5) enormous cloves each. 1/4lb is approximately 10 cloves, 1/2lb is approximately 20 cloves. Due to limited quantities, please limit purchase to a maximum of 2lbs per variety. WE CANNOT SHIP GARLIC TO IDAHO or HAWAII, OR OUTSIDE THE U.S. Garlic should be planted when you are about 4-6 weeks from a hard freeze. Please inspect bulbs upon receipt and notify us immediately of any concerns. If you can't plant right away, keep the bulbs in a dry spot with good air circulation, as diseases can develop on garlic that is not stored properly.
