The Excursion is a lightweight plastic 3-Pin backcountry touring boot with a removable Padlock liner. The liner is an insulated which is a little heavier than a Thermoflex, but is more durable and less expensive. Excursions are a perfect match for the wider pattern base metal edge skis on the market today. Because of Garmont´s dual injection ability, they have an easy, comfortable, forward touring flex, yet good turning control due to the Pebax upper. The Excursion has 2 buckles, a power strap, and Vibram sole, all at a good price.
