Legend has it that Hades gifted a pomegranate to Persephone before she left the underworld to ensure safe and speedy travels. Upon her return, the fruit transformed into a handful of these precious red gemstones - forever solidifying their place in mythology and the modern metaphysical arts. Garnet is said to symbolize loyalty, fidelity, grace and faith.
