About Gateway SS Superglow Plastic Gateway's SS Superglow plastic is a Sure Grip variant that is pretty soft, but not overly so. Strontium is added to these discs so they glow brightly and for a long time. More flexible than Soft but less so than SSS, this plastic is firm enough to be thrown hard off the tee or for approaches during the day or at night.
