We are excited to share a brand new Lenten workshop with you! This workshop/reflection gives families a meaningful opportunity to be reminded of what the Cross means for their lives. This resource includes prompts that invite families to write their responses on a small wooden cross. It culminates with a planting experience that signifies the new life the Cross promises. This workshop is designed to be 30-45 minutes in length. It can be offered as a self-led experience after a Sunday Liturgy or in place of a typical faith formation class where parents/families would join the students. It would also make the perfect opening or closing to a longer event or a catechist/teacher/staff meeting. Implementation Options: +This workshop can be led from the front as families sit at tables reflecting on the various prompts and finish with the planting experience. +This workshop can be self-led as families move from table to table ending at a planting station. Each table has a placard to explain what each family needs to do each step of the way. +This workshop can be led as a reflection for catechists, teachers, or adults as part of a bigger meeting. *This gathering is perfect to use anytime during the Lenten Season. Includes everything needed to host a meaningful, beautiful, and faith-based Lenten workshop!*Please note, this digital PDF is for individual parish or school use only.
