Some candles are made to scent a room. The Gathered Pillar is made to gather people around light. Hand-poured from pure New Zealand beeswax, the Gathered Pillar is designed to burn slowly over many evenings, becoming part of the rhythm of a home rather than a decoration for a single occasion. Its warm golden glow creates atmosphere without relying on added fragrance. Every Gathered Pillar is individually wicked, hand-poured, finished, trimmed and packaged in small batches using locally sourced New Zealand beeswax and a cotton wick. As a natural beeswax candle, a soft white bloom may appear over time. This is a hallmark of pure beeswax and can be gently polished away with a soft cloth if desired. To encourage an even burn, allow the first lighting to continue until the melted wax reaches the edge of the candle.
