The more we wrote, the more we welcomed the sense of being unmoored from expectation. Every idea was on the table, no matter how outlandish or far removed from our established “sound”.Luckily, these songs still feel as fiercely immediate as they did when they were conceived.The songs - and sentiments contained within - are equal parts apocalyptic & reverential. Like a photograph of a burning building captured from afar.
