Gaura White is a bushy, hardy perennial shrub with long graceful stems that bloom with soft white flowers in spring-summer. The stems are long and slender with the blooms swaying g racefully in the breeze hence the popular name Butterfly Bush. Plant this gaura in mixed beds and borders, cottage gardens, meadow-style planting, and waterwise gardens. For an extra-long flowering season, remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser. Cutting plants hard back after flowering will prevent them self seeding. Soil: Well-drained soil. Conditions: Full sun to light shade. Heat, drought, frost and coastal tolerant.
