Brass unit is manufactured from brass and is sealed for longevity; it may have slight tarnishing around corners or edges due to the nature of brass. Frosted PC unit is manufactured with Helicoil thread inserts to prolong the life of the threads, this process resulted in cracks near or around threaded inserts. Frosted PC also includes a PVD stainless steel weight, due to the PVD process there may be microscratches present on the surface of the finish
