The GD&T Design course builds on the concepts learned in GD&T Fundamentals and Advanced GD&T to provide a practical, application-focused approach to developing functional engineering drawings. You’ll learn how to select datums, dimensions, and tolerances that reflect true part function and manufacturing realities—instead of relying on default tolerances or legacy drawing standards. Participants will develop a clear, repeatable process for selecting tolerance values, evaluating worst-case boundaries, and performing part- and assembly-level tolerance analysis. The emphasis is on real drawings, realistic tolerance choices, and workflows that can be applied immediately. This course is ideal for design and manufacturing engineers, drafters, and anyone involved in defining, producing, or verifying parts.
