LED Indicator Lamp Load Device is a load resistor for the indicator (turn-signal) circuit, used when LED indicator lamps replace the original filament bulbs. An LED draws far less current than the filament bulb it replaces, so the flasher circuit reads the reduced load as a failed bulb and flashes rapidly (hyper-flash) or raises a bulb-failure warning. Wired in parallel with the LED lamp, the load device restores the electrical load the circuit expects and returns the indicator to its normal flash rate. Show more
