The Gear Axe has the rugged feel of a weapon made in post-apocalyptic times. The large axe head is made from a gear-blade, 40 cm diameter. From the 60 cm bite 17 straight-gear teet h giving the weapon an unrefined but effective look. From the bite three staves stretch back towards the haft. The reverse side has three spikes _ two short with a longer in the middle and all with several lacerations. The haft of the axe comes in a dark-brown wooden texture fitted with leather bindings fixing cog-wheel and spikes in place. A second patch of leather bindings sits half-way between the eye and knob.
