She carried a Basic Field Manual of press accreditation rules, which included a waiver of liability for injury or death. In another pocket, a green accreditation card. That's just the paperwork. She'd need notebooks, pens. Female charm in some measure to open doors that were often closed to women. A typewriter. A jacket like this would come in handy, too.
